Is it Murder to Kill the New York Times?

I had thought Google or Craigslist would own it by now.... Is it Murder to Kill the New York Times? The New York Times is Over Extended, Increasingly Insolvent with a Crushing Overhang of Debt . it May Be About to Go Over the Edge? Lex Loeb Contributor Network . Disclaimer: Not real murder, sensational exploitation headline "murder"... The New York Times is on the edge of corporate oblivion. Bankruptcy maybe near. It is possible to help tip the balance as a subscriber! Would it be "murder" to give a corporation like that one a little nudge? I got sick of reading about the brutality of a lot of things in the Times. It built one of the tallest trophy ego-plated skyscrapers on the planet in Manhattan in recent years to celebrate their arrogance. That big ugly slab like skyscraper may prove to be the institutions head stone. The financial arrogance of the times extended into their basic business model which is more of a shambles than the banking industry. For more than 100 years the New York Times has viciously altered reality. It has given its readers a super spectacular of alternative reality, not as bad as Mother Jones but enough to turn carpet bagger Hillary Clinton into an instant state senator. For this service they gouged advertisers with their full progressive monopoly power! A tiny print ad in the Times could cost hundreds of dollars. Now thanks to Craigslist the 400 times the advertising value is possible at zero cost or very moderate cost for employment ads. Does subscribes owe this newspaper it's existence? Many support their hypocritical progressive version of reality and myth making and seem to overlook the gouging adverting rates charged over the years while the newspaper based basic capitalism over the years. Does one really need to pay for sensationalism and mental exploitation when one already has cable TV news programing? Shouldn't this sort of mindless altering entertainment just be free like it is on the Internet? What about their overbearing carbon foot print? Are New York Times readers all crack heads to believe that sensationalist junk science? We are all supposed to sacrifice our economic assumptions and surrender to global warming hysteria according to the New York Times but their carbon foot print is not a real issue. Thousands of pulp trees die every day for newsprint! Would it be Murder or just a sensationalist headline? If reporters can murder a story and writers murder the English language then murdering a newspaper might be a good idea. What if it could be done just by canceling your subscription? There is enough paper in the Sunday times trees in the newsprint forest are crying. A bankrupt New York Times probably won't go away but maybe the creditors have some better ideas for replacement editors. It could be a real risk. Who cares there still is the Village Voice for alternative reality in print. Journalist can get real jobs from president Obama in the new green economy--that might serve them right. Forces working against the Times include Google Advertising, The Rupert Murdock re-birthing of the New York Times, and a cottage industry of people sick and tired of having reality framed by this arrogant industrial newspaper. The best thing an individual can do to help Kill the New York Times is to cancel one's subscriptions and if need be find their free content online otherwise ignoring it. Sick of the artificial reality manufactured by the Times, most of their once loyal subjects are finding the Internet to be a duct of fresh air that can flush out the stale hyper-carbonated hot air from the Times. Radio talk show host, Mark Lavin , refers to the times as "The Slime" and that attitude is spreading even in their captive distribution area comprising the east coast megalopolis. The Wall Street Journal , realizing that financial data is more accessible on Yahoo Finance and Google Finance is adding feature reporting to take on the times as a national news service. Murdock realizes that there have to be trade offs. Less newsprint is more with the Internet as an interface and the paper as a sort of separate index. The horror of the New York Time is how it rapes the land of newsprint trees creating one of the largest carbon foot prints on the planet as their journalists kindle the insane hypocrisy of excluding their own carbon foot print from certain global warming end of the world scenario that has never ending hypnotic powers for the most loyal readers. From the stand point of ending kindling the end of the New York Times planetary destructive carbon foot print everyone of their most loyal readers should definitely cancel the physical newsprint subscription and opt for the free online access or just switch to the google news service. For the die hards there is always the Huffington Post. You want huff and puff still? Read the Huffington Post. Based on their own ideology it is time for assisted suicide. It is time for the arrogant overbearing newspaper to die. The sooner the better because the earth is in the lurch. Didn't we read that crap in the Times? It is time for Obama sacrifice and environmental sacrifice. Lets start with the New York Times. Lets Sacrifice the messenger especially since this messenger has such an onerous carbon foot print. The question is if Killing the New York Times is Murder? Will we miss the Sunday times advertising? Are full page movie ads necessary or are they killing god's trees? Is the New York Book Review necessary or are publishers just spewing crap instead of publishing just the great books people never find the time to read with an Oprah book club of literary horrors? What about the New York times magazine? Does it make any real difference or just waste part Sunday for hundreds of thousands of readers? Weighing and considering all the evidence, clearly it is time for the New York Times to Die. It needs to go over the edge and not come back. If it is murder to kill it fine. The better assets and talent at the Times will find new venues and some new New York Times rebirth is likely with a new owner--Maybe Carlos Slim. Why not? The death of the Times will make news--Big news. What a glorious way for a corrupt antiquated newspaper to die! Add the sensationalism that the newspaper was murdered and we have a great headliner. In conclusion, Yes , the New York Times must die and anyone who can help should join in the fun of murdering it. Cancel your subscriptions, Go online for news. If it is worth saving the earth , then voluntarily helping to cut the carbon foot print of the times by canceling your subscription is what that newspaper deserves. They believe everything they say about the impending doom of man made global warming. With the state of the environment as it is it is necessary to terminate the New York Times immediately. The dire state of the global warming situation means murder is necessary as soon as possible. We read it in the Times. If the Wall Street Journal is less inclined to be pumping up the global warming hysteria then maybe if you need a newspaper delivered take a subscription to it. When the Times goes into a reorganization bankruptcy and and don't change their arrogant attitudes then continue to cancel subscriptions. Anyone else notice that the New York Times is one of the big evil corporations they rail against? The new trophy skyscraper in Manhattan can be converted to condo for the future rich friends of President Obama. Maybe the neighborhood will improve with more rich people living in that part of Manhattan? Their are great benefits in Killing the New York Times. Good advice to Google incorporated would be to buy the times publishing rights and making it one of their proprietary online sources. Carlos Slim might be happy to have a nice headquarters building that is one of the world's tallest most modern buildings in the center of Manhattan or maybe Mayor Blomberg can find need for more city offices with Obama stimulus money to fill it and pay Carlos rent. When it comes to treating corporations as individuals then Murder maybe the proper answer in these times. The only thing to worry about is the Obama administration remaking the collapsed New York Times into a nationalized national newspaper like Pravda used to be. What is the big nonsense about the quality of the writing in the times anyways? Its all filtered slime and not news always has been. Those of us who are below average writers , just bad writers, and anti-journalists can't give a damn about what is going to be lost when the Times folds the last time. From Murdering stories to murdering the newspaper itself. Life without the New York Times impossible? It is an experiment we can afford. Beats having our banks go belly up. The "last day" front page might be collectible! The death of the times may prove to be a real thriller. It was not long ago that the Times murdered it's competition. They almost killed the Post! Best Kept Secret Park in Lake Oswego

Best Kept Secret Park in Lake Oswego Great for Bike Riders, Walking and Running with Scenic River Views Lex Loeb Contributor Network . Lake Oswego does not like to advertise some of its best attractions for fear of attracting non-locals. The area has many interesting treasures almost no one from the Portland area bothers to explore. Lake Oswego has long had the cache' of an upper middle class white Anglo Saxon enclave that does not want the company of everyone from the Portland Metro Area coming in. One can't blame the present day city for trying to protect itself against crowds of non local strangers using their public facilities. Anyone who has been to lake Oswego actual lake knows it is a privately owned body of water that does not welcome the public access in anyway. That is not true of the Oswego Furnace Tower in George Rogers Park or Old River Drive that connects to the park's main pathway up along the Willamette river front. Along most of Old River drive the fro

Vines are the Most Intelligent of Plants.

Ever seen Boston Ivy covering the walls at Ivy League colleges?   That could make them the most intelligent of plants. Vines train themselves to cover territories and structures. They don't just grow toward the sun they find their way to spread their leaves with trial and error until they cover wide areas that satisfy their demands for light and exposure.  Some have tendrils that find a way to spiral around things to rise off the ground and follow the pathways they can take advantage of.  If i was designing an artificial intelligence app or algorithm I would think about vines and how they deal with their environmental factors.    Most plants do also have this ability to grow with a kind of logic, especially the roots which will grow to seek water and nutrients.  Some tropical plants have ariel roots that can seem intelligent too in finding sources of water and nutrients and taking advantage at a considerable distance. If one root becomes disconnected these plants can send out a ne
